happy new year

Hi all just wanting to wish you all a very happy, healthy and great new year, i know for many of us in various ways 2009 has been a struggle in different ways and for me i feel that way too, still single and lonely ahhhhhh lol, still having a lot of worrying times with adam but on a positive note i am enjoying living in scotland been 18 months now and being in essex at mo is a definate reminder i did the right thing moving away.

Righto folks stay safe and warm with the celebrations tonight i shall be offline now till i get home on saturday, arrghhh not looking forward to the drive back up to scotland but gotta be done, and then decs down washing machine on, food shopping, and then adam back to school wednesday and then woohooooooo i get crafting again and i've just been naughty and placed a big order on www.stamps.co.uk so plenty to play with when i get home.

happy christmas to all

Hi all just tapping away here and wanting to wish all my bloggy friends a safe, warm and happy christmas, hope all of you have a great day and hopefully a few little crafty bits as well!!!!!

here in scotland we are stranded!!!!! still have mum with me and we were meant to be leaving to go to my brothers yesterday but after so much snow we decided to make the decesion to be safe and stay here till it all eases off. So i have mum here and a excited adam tonight who is gripping his stocking in bed and waiting for santa to arrive!!
Hoping to try and make the journey again on boxing day to my brothers then the next day driving to essex to stay for a few days to see ex, friends and family.

taking my laptop so although not crafting i can still be sane and be able to tap away lol hugs to you all xx

happy 60th birthday to my mum

Hi all its all go here, mum is here and its her 60th birthday today!! having a quiet day at mo as the snow is on and off, but we went up to see the lights in glasgow saturday and took adam to the new hamleys that has opened his little face was a picture. yesterday took mum to panto and she had a birthday message read out for her haha...hope we can get out later for a bite to eat which will be nice but her pressies are all coded and me and my brother have been so evil to her and she got to find her pressies in amongst a box of sweeties!!!!

onto her card now took me blinking ages but she really lilked it this morning, it was an easel card and her favourite owls by little claire designs coloured in with h20's, papers are from my minds eye and basic grey. flowers from the works and letters from stash.

60th birthday

Hi all this is a commisoned card for my friend to give to my mum for her birthday on the 21st, my mum loves badminton and obviously she will be 60, i've also made her a card but won't show it on here yet!!

This card is also following the sketch on this weeks challenge at moving along the times.

Hi all oh i've got the bug for easel cards!!! with this card i have encorporated the colour scheme needed to fullfill chrisma cardz challenge this week which was a colour combo of green, red and either white or silver i went with white.

My forever friends were from forever friends cardstock stickers, backed onto green stash card, papers from doodlebug and the holly and sentiment from also the same forever friends cardstock stickers.

my first easel card

Hi all thought i would have a bash at an easel card, not sure how it has turned out, or even if i've made it right but its for my good friend Jo as its her birthday today and she likes purple lol.

my image is from house mouse coloured in with H20's, papers from Pm purple collection and stash. Flowers also pm and the friend sentiment was freebie from a mag.

hi all over at chrisma cardz we have the theme dreaming of summertime, and her is my entry with my froggy congratulations card. Froggy is from penny black coloured in with H2o's backed onto pink and green card stock. backing papers were frebies form a crafting mag. sentiment from cuddly buddly nad flowers from PM.

penny black saturday challenge..christmas for the girls

hi all so dreary here today and my day gone to pot a little, full of intentions of making loads of cards made one, and then this afternoon me and adam were having a snuggle and was us asleep on the sofa for 2 hours argghhh and there is nothing worse than waking in the dark so makes you feel worse and not got a dead arm from where adam was so hopefully typing will make it work lol.

This card is for penny black saturday challenge where it has to be a girly card and i think this fits in perfectly, my penny black image was coloured in with H20's and pink stickles, mounted and stacked using my nesties. also used ivory shimmer card ran through the cuttlebug using the snowflake folder. my pink christmas backing paper is from stash, added a pink bow and used my MS doily punch as well.

adam's birthday and not again!!

Morning all, an update this end and i'm so gutted again adam off school poorly got sent home yesterday off to docs who say ear infection throat infection etc, but he also showing very similar symptoms to when he had swine flu so i really don't know just so so sad for him to be honest that he is suffering so much this winter and that his PKU obiously plays a big part in his immune system.
On a good note he was still well for his birthday and enjoyed himself he loved his surprise present of a new bike i got from E-Bay for £10.50 absolute bargain and in fabby condition. His cake on the other hand was a bit of a bodge job though lol even got diagnosed as looking like a hoovercraft!!!! haha. well here are a few photos of the birthday boy and his card i made him love you all loads xx
