Get well soon

hello all well finally finished another card just seemed to have very little time to get crafty, but here it is using a new stamp from spiral whisper stamps its "tilly" coloured in with H2'0s. I've then used the CB for the circles and a peel off get well soon. Ribbon from stash and PM flowers too.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge

Evening all...hope you've had a good day. Well here is my creation for this weeks challenge where we had to include a charm on the card!! Well my charm is a dragonfly charm. I've used Inspirables(life berries) backing paper, the stamp was from creative expressions and i have stamped it twice to give the wings a double layer. coloured in with H2o'S. Also used the cuttlebug for the swirls and circles, and then some stickles to give more effect. happy looking lol!! xx

good news and frustrating news lol!!

Evening all..hope you've all had a good day and the weather has been kind to you too.
My day started off lovely with my best friend Jo aka jrjewels.blogspot.com
Then I picked up Adam early from school as he had hospital for more treatment on his teeth as due to his high intake off sugar in his diet from his PKU condition, but after last weeks work that went fab..this time not so well so bit of a wasted drive to Yorkill childrens hossie in Glasgow, but hey ho hopefully the 6th visit will be the end of it all for a while so shall be keeping my fingers crossed for him and me lol.
Also remembered that I hadn't told you all that thanks to Jo again (xx) that both her and I have sucessfully got a stall at this years Ayr Hospive craft fair, its not till November but something to aim for...so if anyone has any tips on selling there cards at these types of events i would love to know any secrets on getting them buyers flocking to your stall lol.
Well I have made a card tonight but its too dodgy to get a piccie of it just now..reason being need to let the stickles dry and it has a heavy charm on it so i don't want to get angry when charm meets stickles so have to be patient for once lol!! and if you haven't guesssed the card is for this weeks Sunday stamptacular challenge which needed to have a charm on the card...well all shall be revealed tomorrow folks. night all xx

just magnolia challenge

evening all well this weeks challenge on just magnolia is the colour scheme pink and green. took a while to get the thoughts running but semi pleased with it now. Its theme is "best friend" and mainly bits from my stash. The tilda is coloured with my ever trusty H2O's and the hair band and flower centres are coloured with stickles.

ABC challenge (K)

evening all well i thought i would add a card this week for the ABC challenge which is letter K...Keeping it simple!! well i like my cards like this so i thought for the first time i would give this challenge a go. so here it is...I have used the swirls embossing folder for the CB, then using the CB again layering up the circles and then added a with love stamp and coloured it in. used some blue stickles on certain points and then pm ribbon as well. Night night all xx

morning all hope you are all enjoying the sun today? here is my entry for this weeks challenge it was black and white with only one other colour...i decided to go with adding the colour of teal and the backing paper was from doodlebug designs. I added some colour using H2O's and also some stickles glitter to the image. the stamp was from stampendous and the rest was from my stash. happy looking lol xx

A little more about me and my son

firstly i would like to say oops no cards to show today...but one ready to be put on in the morning i promise.
but tonight i thought i would say thankyou for the kind comments you have said about my son Adam and his pic in my sidebar, and i wanted to tell you more about just how special he really is to me.....well he took 2 years to conceive him from fertility treatment and he was diddy when he was born at 5lb 130z but i didn;t care i had my long awaited bundle...but on day 14 of his life i had a phone call from Great Ormond Street hospital to say for us to go as they feared he had got a metabolic disorder called Phenylketonuria (PKU). He was diagnosed with this condition the day after and he is a rare little boy of 1 in 15,000. The condition simplified bascially means his body cannot tolerate protein into his body and the subsequent effects is brain damage!!! So as you can imagine i was totally shocked at the time and it took along time to take in his condition and his outlook on life. Every milestone has brought its ups and downs but we manage, foods have to weighed out for him and he has blood tests done weekly to monitor his protein levels and even simple foods of sweetcorn or potato has protien in so they have to be weighed before he can have a tiny amount. he is now 5 years and is a happy boy most of the time yes its hardwork and sometimes his protein levels reach levels that he can;t handle so he is not the adam i know but i wouldn;t change him for the world...especially as 3 years ago i gave birth to a stillborn baby whom we called George, he is soarly missed in my life and makes adam even more special to me. Adams outlook is good as long as we maintain good levels and he follows the strict diet then his brain won;t suffer. this is a lifelong condition for him so many more milestones for us to handle yet...
Well thats my ramblings over for tonight, would of been easier to of shown my card now lol..thanks for reading if you've got this far emma xxxx
